World Revival Church pastors, Steve and Kathy Gray, joined Marcus and Joni Lamb on “Celebration” last week to announce the end of their weekly program on Daystar.
In 2008, God spoke to Marcus Lamb and directed him to broadcast the services of World Revival Church. For over three years, Daystar has done this, live and free of charge to the church, even though it interrupted a weekly airing of the network’s flagship show, “Celebration.”
Said Marcus Lamb, “After much prayer we feel like we need to make a change and go back to our flagship program.” Lamb explained that although the services at World Revival Church have made great impact, he believes the season for them to be broadcast on Daystar has concluded.
As Daystar transitions to different programming on Friday nights, Marcus Lamb took the opportunity to praise the class with which the Grays have conducted their services. “I don’t know of any revival that has been more pure and avoided controversy [the way World Revival Church has],” he said.
Steve Gray shared with the audience that Daystar’s partnership with World Revival Church ends on a positive note. “This was a great season and it’s touched a lot of lives. Only good has come of this,” he said. The feeling is mutual for the founders of Daystar. “We love Pastors Steve and Kathy Gray so much,” said Joni Lamb. “They are our friends for life.”
Those who have enjoyed watching World Revival Church do not have to worry about missing out on future broadcasts of the services. The church has set up a website, www.irevival.tv, which will air all of its services, Thursday-Saturday at 7 p.m. Central, and Sunday at 10 a.m. Central.
