Please join Daystar in praying for the Nigerian girls abducted from their school last month! These schoolgirls, the majority of whom are Christians, were taking an opportunity to better their future through gaining an education when they were abducted by Boko Haram – a terrorist group who, amongst other objectives, is dedicated to destroying opportunities for women to receive an education. We can’t even begin to imagine the frightening ordeal that these girls are currently going through, but we can stand beside them in prayer. While this situation may seem impossible to us, we know that with God, nothing is ever impossible. Our God is a miraculous God, and through his power and strength, even the most desperate situations can be turned into hopeful ones. Never underestimate the incredible power of prayer. Miracles happen when we gather together as believers to pray, and we are definitely praying for a miracle in this situation. Please pray that God will protect these girls while they are in captivity, and bring comfort to their families during this difficult time. Pray for wisdom for our leaders, that God would give them the strength and clarity they need to make the right decisions, so these girls can be rescued quickly and safely!
