Please join Daystar in praying for the swift recovery of the three teenage boys kidnapped on their way home from school in the West Bank region of Israel.
The boys were abducted by Hamas and are now being held hostage in an undisclosed location. The plight of these boys is similar to that of Gilad Shalit, an Israeli soldier who was also abducted and held by Hamas for over five years. He was eventually released in an exchange for over 1,000 Palestinian prisoners that were being held in Israel. Many fear that this same sort of scenario might occur again.
While not all worldwide media outlets have been accurately covering this story, the boys’ predicament has gone viral on social media through the hashtag #BringBackOurBoys, with many calling for the United States to become involved in searching for the abducted.
How can you help?
- Pray. Remaining hopeful in difficult times can be a challenge, but we know that our God is a powerful God, and ultimately, He is in control of the situation. Let’s join together in prayer for the boys, their families, and the nation of Israel. Pray that the boys will remain safe while in captivity, and pray for a swift rescue and recovery.
