In 1983, during a visit to Israel, John Brown, spiritually inspired by scripture (1 Kings 8:41-43), dedicated himself to finding oil and gas in Israel – starting the process that eventually led to the founding of Zion Oil & Gas. During the next 17 years he made numerous trips to Israel, hired oil and gas consultants in Israel and Texas, met with Israeli government officials and otherwise assisted Israeli exploration companies. This activity led Mr. Brown to form Zion Oil & Gas, Inc. in April 2000.
Todd Burpo is the pastor of Crossroads Wesleyan Church in Imperial, Nebraska, where his sermons are broadcast every Sunday via the local radio station. In emergencies, Todd can be found working shoulder-to-shoulder with the Imperial Volunteer Fire Department as a firefighter.
