Dr. Jerry Barnard is the founding pastor and bishop of Horizon Church in Daytona Beach, FL, which he pioneered in 2001. Dr. Barnard, a minister’s son, attended seminary in Atlanta, Georgia, along with university in St. Louis, Missouri. In 2007, he commemorated 50 years as an ordained minister, along with his wife, Sandi, who has been his partner in ministry all those years. Dr. Barnard is also a founding programmer of TBN, and was a frequent guest at the studios on Dyer Road in the 70’s. He and Sandi were also weekly hosts of TBN’s “Praise the Lord” program for over 15 years.
