You won’t want to miss today’s exciting episode of “Marcus and Joni” with special guests Geoffrey & Michele Cohen!
Geoffrey Cohen was raised in the Orthodox Jewish traditions and brought up in private Jewish schools in South Africa. He was very opposed to the message of the gospel until he had a powerful encounter with the Lord in Jerusalem in 1984.
Geoffrey was so dramatically changed that, with great authority and power, he began to preach the message he had so strongly opposed. He committed to preach the gospel anywhere God led him, and the Lord opened numerous doors for him. He has preached in many nations and on many continents, and seen both Jews and Gentiles come to the Lord during his 24 years of ministry. Geoffrey has taught in Bible Schools around the world and preached on television, the radio and in churches.
He has a Bachelors degree in Theology, is an ordained minister and is currently serving as the Pastor of Jewish Ministries at Gateway Church in Southlake, Texas. Geoffrey is married to his wife Michele Cohen since September 28, 1989. They have three children, Ezra, Samson and Joseph. His whole family serves the Lord together.
Michele Cohen: “I grew up in the beautiful county of Surrey, England. At age 13, I earned a place on the British National Gymnastics Team and after retiring from the sport at age 15 returned to my first love of dance and acting.
My professional training included 3 years at the Doreen Bird College of Performing Arts in London under instructors from The Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, the Royal Ballet, and the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. I went on to enjoy a professional career as a director, actress choreographer, and dancer, working in and around London’s prestigious West End theater district as well as in California, Virginia and Texas, USA. For 4 years, I taught and choreographed dance for college students and young professionals at the Italia Conti Academy of Theater Arts, one of England’s most notable training facilities for the arts.
From 2003 to 2011, I was employed with Gateway Church in Southlake, Texas, as a creative arts coordinator and directed Gateway productions for 5 years, annually reaching audiences of over 40,000 live and millions more via webcast and television. I continue to work on selective projects as a freelance artist but devote my time most exclusively to speaking and ministering in conferences, churches, women’s events, seminars, retreats and television both in the US and around the world. My passion is to motivate you to become established in your value, empowered in your calling and equipped to arise in your maximum potential…”
