Recently, we received this amazing testimony from one of our Daystar viewers in Israel. It’s so encouraging to hear that people all around the world are being inspired by the various programs on Daystar. Hello,
My name is Michaela, and I live in Netanya, Israel. I would like to tell you that I thank God for you every day because of the work you are doing, impacting the lives of many people, myself included.
When we first moved to Israel 5 years ago, I must confess I was very upset mainly because I didn’t know what would happen to my spiritual growth without a local church or Christian friends. With 4 small children, a constantly traveling husband and a totally different life from what I used to have in Hungary, it wasn’t always easy to stay positive. I cried out to God for help every day.
One evening while flipping through the channels that were not in Hebrew, I came across channel number 110. I heard someone mentioning the name of Jesus, and when I realized it was a Christian channel, I jumped up and down in my living room praising God. Ever since then I watch you whenever I have the chance. My spiritual growth has been taken care of because God knows us and can meet our needs if we only let Him. Through your programs I am learning constantly, discovering new books, and listening to anointed people who, by their teachings, have become like spiritual mentors to me. There’s been a big change in me, which I’m not sure would have happened if God hadn’t kicked me out of my comfort zone.
Last week I was watching Marcus Lamb preaching in Singapore. He quoted many encouraging scriptures and at the end he asked everyone to put their hand on their neighbor’s shoulder and pray. I felt so lonely I began to cry, but then he said, “You also watching by television,” so I reached out. Exactly then he said, “You are not forgotten, you are also a part of this body.” I could not believe my ears; it was like God had spoken directly to me. I felt such gratitude, I kept saying thank you Lord, thank you Lord.
Then I decided I would write to you, to say thank you to Daystar too. I keep you in my prayers.
May God bless you,
Michaela
