Are you having trouble watching Daystar in South Africa?
If so, we apologize, and we’re sorry for any inconveniences this might have caused you. But the good news is we have a solution for you!
Recently, there was a frequency change in the Intelsat 20 (Ku) Satellite, so if you are watching Daystar by this method, you will need to change the parameters of your dish, using these numbers:
Satellite: Intelsat 20 (Ku)
Downlink frequency: 11674 MHz
Downlink Polarization: Vertical
Symbol Rate: 28.800 Mbps
FEC: 7/8
Roll Off: 1.25
If you are watching Daystar via Multichoice on a Multichoice DSTV receiver, they recommend that you re-tune the Daystar satellite parameters in to their satellite receiver. The satellite you need to tune to is Eutelsat 36B @ 35.9 degrees east. If you are still experiencing problems after trying these various methods, we suggest that you contact your Multichoice provider directly.
Thanks so much for being patient with us during these changes, and we appreciate your feedback!
