Recently, Daystar Television Network made a $10,000 donation to Gordon Cruden and Teen Challenge of North East Scotland when Cruden was a guest on the network’s flagship program “Marcus and Joni.”
In an attempt to raise awareness and funds for Teen Challenge, Cruden embarked on a 30 day journey through 50 states, traveling across the country on his motorcycle.
Specifically, the funds will go towards the purchase of the organization’s Benaiah House – a rehabilitation center for women and children where the women have the ability to stay with their children whilst going through rehabilitation.
The goal is to raise 535,000 GBP (approximately $696,000 USD) for the cause over the course of 5 years. Already, Cruden has traveled across 47 European countries on his motorcycle in 30 days, and also lived hungry and homeless on the streets of London, Cardiff, Dublin, Belfast, Edinburgh and Aberdeen over the course of 30 days in an attempt to raise funds and awareness on previous occasions.
Cruden’s 15,000 mile trek across America has come to a successful close, but if you’d like more information on the Benaiah House, Teen Challenge, and Gordon Cruden click here.
