It is with heavy hearts that we bring you the news of Roy Vuncannon’s death.
Roy and his wife, Diane, were victims of the violent tornadoes that hit Moore, Oklahoma in 2013, and they lost their home and their business to the storm. Daystar was able to step in and bless them with a brand new, fully furnished home, helping to restore and rebuild their lives.
Roy passed away earlier this week of congestive heart failure, leaving behind his wife and other immediate and extended family. And while the family is devastated by their loss, they are also grateful for what Daystar was able to do for Roy and Diane.
“I just wanted to take this time to thank you for what you did for my uncle when none of us were able to,” says Roy’s niece, Collene. “I’m very thankful that his heart was at ease knowing this his wife had a home and everything she needed before he passed! It’s heartwarming to know that there are still beautiful people in this world that will reach a hand out to others in their darkest times. Thank you!”
