Daystar Television Network has just won three prestigious 2015 Telly Awards for the original documentary, Israel and the Golan: The Heights of Hope.
Now in its 36th year, the Telly Awards honor the finest film and video productions, web commercials, videos and films, as well as local, regional and cable television commercials and programs. With a goal to strengthen the visual arts community and foster creativity, the Telly Awards have become increasingly popular in recent years. In 2014, the 35th Annual Telly Awards received over 12,000 entries from across the United States and around the world.
Daystar’s original documentary, Israel and the Golan: The Heights of Hope, won a Silver Telly Award in the Cultural category, and a Bronze Award in both the Documentary and Copywriting categories.
Israel and the Golan: The Heights of Hope offers a one of a kind look at the Golan region in Israel, providing new insight into one of the world’s most hotly contested regions. The documentary explores the Jewish history tied to the region, as well as the recent controversies surrounding the area.
