Daystar Television Network is set to air CUFI’s (Christians United for Israel) 10th Annual Washington Summit on Monday, July 13th live at 12:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Eastern. The summit, which is held each July, provides an opportunity for thousands of pro-Israel Christians to gather in Washington, D.C. and make their voices heard in support of Israel and the Jewish people.
The Washington Summit will feature a variety of distinguished speakers such as Pastor John Hagee, CUFI Executive Director David Brog, nationally syndicated radio host Dennis Prager and Israeli Ambassador to the United States Ron Dermer, among others.
Christians United for Israel is the largest pro-Israel organization in the United States and one of the leading Christian grassroots movements in the world. CUFI’s message is spread to millions across America, with hundreds of pro-Israel events being hosted in various cities around the country. Their mission is to provide a national association through which pro-Israel groups and individuals in America can speak and act with one voice in support of Israel.
Daystar has been a longtime supporter of Israel and the Jewish people, and over the years, the network has been involved with numerous projects and organizations in the Holy Land. Past ventures have included a $1 million donation towards the construction of a new Trauma and Rehabilitation Center at the Assaf Harofeh Medical Center in Tel Aviv; building the Daystar House of Hope, which provides a home for Holocaust survivors living below the poverty level; and Daystar’s “Heart for a Soldier” project, an initiative with the goal of providing protective eyewear to Israeli soldiers serving their country.
“We are made aware today more than any other time in history that we must be united together with Israel,” says Marcus Lamb, President and CEO of Daystar Television Network. “We are excited about airing the Christians United for Israel Washington Summit in Washington, DC. – it is such a tremendous opportunity for all believers to join together to take a public stand for Israel in the capital of our nation.”
