Daystar Television Network has donated $10,000 to Project C.U.R.E., an organization that works to provide impoverished nations around the world with life-saving medical equipment, empowering doctors, nurses and other medical professionals with the tools they need to successfully do their jobs.
Founded by Dr. James Jackson in 1987 in Colorado, Project C.U.R.E. (Commission on Urgent Relief and Equipment) has grown into a worldwide organization with the capacity to collect medical donations in 15 cities across the United States. The organization constantly seeks out new and better ways to provide the highest quality medical equipment to people across the globe, working hard to ensure that quality care and critical medical services are available to those who need it most. Since its conception, Project C.U.R.E. has reached patients, families and children in 130 countries.
Daystar’s donation was made when the organization’s founder, Dr. James Jackson, and his son and Project C.U.R.E.’s president, Dr. Doug Jackson, were guests on the network’s flagship program, Marcus and Joni, earlier this year.
“Daystar is excited to have been able to give $10,000 to an organization where a $1 donation sends $20 of medical equipment and supplies to needy people all over the world; we hope others will take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to make a real difference in other people’s lives,” says Marcus Lamb, President of Daystar Television Ministries.
