Daystar Television Network has made a $10,000 donation To Jamal Bryant and Empowerment Temple in Baltimore, MD, to aid in the aftermath of the recent riots in Baltimore.
The donation was made over the air by Marcus Lamb, President and CEO of Daystar Television Network, when Jamal Bryant was a call-in guest on the network’s flagship program, Marcus and Joni, on Tuesday, April 28th.
“God is not into riots – they lead to senseless destruction,” says Marcus Lamb. “But God is good and specializes in helping hurting people, putting their broken lives back together again, so we are giving Jamal Bryant in Baltimore a donation of $10,000 to help the city put things back together again.”
Jamal Bryant is the pastor of Empowerment Temple in Baltimore, MD, a fast-growing church focused on empowering and equipping believers not only spiritually, but also in every aspect of life.
“I’m appreciative for Daystar being a beacon of light for Baltimore during the city’s darkest hour,” says Jamal Bryant. “The donation they graciously shared with us will serve as a satellite of hope for those who so desperately need a sign from God.”
Partners, please continue to keep the city and people of Baltimore in your prayers during this difficult time of tension and unrest. Pray for peace, justice, and God’s will to be done in and through this situation. Thank you for your prayers!
