CHRISTMAS AT DAYSTAR,
WORDS AREN’T ENOUGH…
LET ME SHOW YOU!
A personal blog from Marcus Lamb | Posted Dec 11, 2017

I could try and describe what Christmas means to me, but I’m not sure that words alone would be enough. My heart is filled with love until it overflows when I reflect on God’s gift to us in Christ, the hope of the world!
Our Savior, Jesus, stepped down from heaven to be a Light in darkness. So it only makes sense that Daystar would honor His life and the illumination He brings through Christmas lights!

Every year, we celebrate Christmas at Daystar with over one million lights that attract visitors from across the Dallas-Fort Worth area. It’s become a tradition for many families as they come and experience the Spirit of the season through our holiday attractions, including a life-sized nativity scene!
I’m especially excited this year with the addition of our new children’s area called Christmas Town! This kid-friendly attraction includes toy soldiers, a candy cane archway, Santa’s workshop, a gingerbread house, Olaf, Thomas the train, and more!

We’ve also added an interactive 8-foot “JOY” sign that’s perfect for making memories to share with others. We always love seeing families celebrating the fun of the holiday season, so be sure to use #DaystarChristmas when posting on social media. Who knows? We might even show your photo on air during our flagship program, Marcus & Joni!

As always, our goal with this project is to point people to the true meaning of Christmas. The many lights we string across Daystar could never compare to the light of our Savior, Jesus. His birth made a way for us all to experience everlasting peace, joy, and salvation.
So while I may not be able to fully describe what Christmas means to me. I hope you’ll come visit Daystar this holiday season so that I can show you. We can’t wait to see you there!
Merry Christmas!
Marcus Lamb
