I can do a few magic tricks – it holds kids captivated!
If you had to choose one food to eat for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Mexican food.
What’s something that you’d love to accomplish but haven’t yet?
Pay off the mortgage on 100 churches – we have done 80 so far.
What’s your funniest memory from your time in the ministry?
Going to the wrong church – it was funny walking in and seeing the surprise on the face of the pastor!
Tell us about your proudest moment.
My 47th wedding anniversary – it was my last. My wife went to Heaven shortly after.
What has been the biggest learning experience of your life?
After pastoring a church for 10 years I learned that I was not a pastor. That lesson led me to the last 28 years of evangelism.
