Dodie Osteen co-founded Lakewood Church – now America’s largest church – with her husband John in 1959. She was miraculously healed of cancer in 1981, and has since devoted herself to intercessory prayer. Her son, Joel, now pastors Lakewood.
Dodie is joined today by her three daughters, all of whom are in ministry. Lisa Comes serves on staff at Lakewood Church and has written a book, You are Made for More. Tamara Graff pastors alongside her husband at Faith Family Church in Victoria, Texas. April Simons ministers with her husband at HighPoint Church in Arlington Texas.
