Bio
Tony Scott has always had a clear vision for his life and for his church; he wants to guide people in reaching their full potential by connecting them with their life-purpose.
And so he pursued this path immediately upon graduation. After receiving his BA from Lee University in 1974, Scott moved with his wife, ShirleyAnn, to Toledo, Ohio, where he became the pastor of a small congregation and expanded membership at the Church.
After realizing his purpose and achieving his goals, Scott’s new vision includes helping others do the same. His latest book, The Diamond Life: You are more than you have become (January 2013), presents a step-by-step guide to maximizing the significance of your life by finding your God-intended purpose.
Everybody is a diamond in the rough, he says, but with a little heat, pressure, and time, you can find your path to fulfilling your destiny. Though it comes with challenges, your life—and your destiny—are defined by how you deal with them.
His first book, The Increase Life, seeks to expand our definition of success beyond finances and into the totality of life – wisdom, faith, health and more.
With a passion for ministry and Christ-centered living, Scott is committed to teaching the Word of God and the “Diamond Life Formula” in his Toledo community and around the world.
Currently his ministry can be seen worldwide via webcast, and he is recognized internationally as a teacher and visionary leader.
