About Sarah DeLane
Sarah DeLane strives for a goal that goes far beyond a song: drawing people closer to the Lord. Sarah DeLane is not your typical concert performer. Response to her gospel flavored sound has been overwhelmingly favorable. But Sarah unabashedly strives for a goal that goes far beyond entertainment: drawing people closer to the Lord. While Sarah’s early love for music has never faded, her mission and ministry has evolved greatly. This evolution is the result of a willingness to be used by God wherever He has chosen to lead. This willingness began early, when at the age of seven, Sarah and her family were invited to travel overseas with Chinese Evangelist, Dr. Nora Lam (China Cry). During that time, Sarah developed a deep love for Asia and its people. That love continues to grow, and she still travels as a missionary to Asia. Her singing has taken her all over Asia, India, Israel, Panama, Canada and the United States.
For Eight years she traveled with Music Evangelist, Nancy Harmon. Sarah was part of the successful Gaither Homecoming Tour, led by renowned songwriter, Bill Gaither. For six years Sarah had been a part of the Homecoming Tour, which gave her the opportunity to share her music and her mission with more than a million people. One of her greatest joys was being a Music Pastor for Tennessee’s largest Assembly of God church; Cornerstone Church. With over 200 in the choir and band, for five and 1/2 years Sarah had the privilege to lead worship every week, oversee major events and illustrated sermons which drew thousands to Christ. Sarah began to develop worship leaders to serve the local church and to teach them to put ministry before artistry. Being a Music Pastor allowed Sarah to minister to people on a personal level that has seasoned her for even more ministry ahead. Today, the Portland, OR native, who now makes her home in Nashville, TN, ministers in music and testimony all over the world. She is thankful that God continues to afford her the opportunity to carry on her mission, “drawing people
closer to the Jesus”.
