About Rebecca Bauer
In ministry for over 30 years, Rebecca Bauer has a passion to see people integrate what they believe into their everyday lives. “After all,” she says, “if you can’t take your theology home, what’s the point?” The living out of this passion has taken many forms. Her current primary focus is on teaching–both at The King’s University, and at Foursquare Ignite Academy, a discipleship school for high school graduates. But she has also taught every age-group, from babies to senior adults; served as a women’s ministries director; published several books; and developed a parenting curriculum. She received her theological training at Life Bible College (1979), and Regent University (2002), and is a certified life coach (2008).
Rebecca’s family is a testimony to the fact that she lives her beliefs. She has raised three children, who, in her words, are “all married, all in ministry, and all reproducing”!
The dark valley of Rebecca’s life came when her husband, Scott Bauer, suddenly died in 2003 of a brain aneurysm. “Life as I knew it was over,” she says. They were pastoring at the time of Scott’s death, which changed both Rebecca’s work and living situation. At the same time, all of her children were getting married, so that in a three-year period, her house completely emptied.
