About Mike Glenn
Mike Glenn is the senior pastor of Brentwood Baptist Church in Brentwood, Tennessee. He is a gifted communicator with a passion to reach young adults and a unique ability to speak to any generation.
Since Mike came to Brentwood Baptist in 1991, membership has skyrocketed from 900 to more than 8,500. Mike is also the teaching pastor of Kairos, a Tuesday night worship service at Brentwood Baptist geared toward energetic young adults with a passion for growing in the Word of God. Mike is a published author. His first book, In Real Time: Young adult Ministry As it Happens, tells the story of Kairos. His second book, The Gospel of Yes, was released by WaterBrook/Multnomah June 5, 2012. Mike hopes as people read the book they will begin to discover the Yes they were called for in life, and learn to live positively in Christ, the ultimate Yes of God. “The power of life,” Mike points out, “is in what we live for not what we live against.” You can read more from Mike on his blog, mikeglennonline.com.
Originally from Huntsville, Alabama, Mike is a graduate of Samford University in Birmingham, and Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. Mike and his wife, Jeannie, live in Franklin, Tennessee, and have two married sons.
