Bio

A native of North Carolina, Samuel Parsons was born and raised in a Christian home. Sam’s father, Squire Parsons, is one of the most prolific singer songwriters in Southern Gospel Music. Sam traveled on the road with his father his entire childhood and the experience nurtured Sam’s love and talent for Gospel music. At age 14, Sam gave his life to the Lord. However at age 17, he began to run with the wrong crowd and began a lifestyle of drugs, alcohol and partying. Sam had many brushes with the law and eventually ended up with a prison sentence for selling drugs. Sam came to the end of himself and rededicated his life to the Lord. After prison he joined a Contemporary Group and worked in construction. In 2003, he began singing and ministering with his dad. In the past few months God has been speaking to Sam about going out and giving his testimony. Sam has seen firsthand how God can mend broken lives and put the pieces back together. Sam married the love of his life Leah and they have a son Samuel Israel.
