Bio
Over the past 60 years the ministry of Reynold Rutledge has spanned many countries around the world. Whether on radio, television, concert stage or local Churches, his music has blessed the hearts of thousands. As a young man in 1950, he was one of the founding members of a vocal and instrumental group called “The Kings Men,” which pioneered gospel music in Australia. In 1960 Reynold and his wife Jean, and their children moved to Australia along with four other members of the group, to establish the first Christian camp of its kind called “Teen Ranch.” For 25 years he was a regular vocalist and marimbist on Canada’s daily Christian TV program, “100 Huntley Street”. He also sang with his brother, Glen, and his sister, Norma Jean Mainse, as the “Huntley Street Trio.” Since his retirement from the Crossroad’s ministries, Reynold served on the board of directors of “Christian Life Relief International.” Among many other things, this ministry builds churches, schools, orphanages and homes to help the poorest of the poor in India. Since moving to Texas in 2011 Reynold continues to use his music ministry throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
