Delivered from a life of drugs and addiction, Kent and Bev Mattox have an incredible testimony. The Lord radically changed their lives in 1986, pointing them in a new direction and eventually prompting them to start a church in Oxford, Alabama. In 2000, Word Alive International Outreach opened its doors, and the Mattox’s have served as senior pastors to the constantly growing congregation ever since. Word Alive International Outreach has a heart for the lost, broken and needy – something they put into action through their Isaiah 58 Food Ministry, feeding over 2,000 families each month.
The Mattox’s have also written several books between the two of them, including No High Like the Most High by Kent Mattox and Shift Happens by Bev Mattox.
