Along with his family group Chuck Day made his first recording project when he was just 12 years old and began traveling and entertaining. Before he was 18 Chuck had recorded 4 albums with his family group, The Day Family. Since then Chuck has worked in several music genres and has traveled with several of the top Southern Gospel music groups as well as several Country bands. He is one of today’s top singer/songwriters and is a pioneer in the Christian Country and Country Gospel industries. He has written and co-written more than 16 #1 songs in the Christian and Country genres and won numerous awards. His most notable songs are “Midnight Cry” and “I’ll Stand Up and Say So.” Chuck records for NewStep Records and tours throughout the U.S. and around the world. He holds both a Doctorate of Theology degree and a Doctorate of Divinity while also practicing as an ordained minister.
