Bio
Charles, a native El Pasoan, grew up in a military family and lived in cities all over the United States and overseas. His parents taught him the incredible values of discipline and faithfulness. As a high school student, his family returned to El Paso, Texas where he graduated and went on to attend the University of Texas at El Paso. It was there that he met his late wife, Rochelle, who led him to know the Lord. Charles and Rochelle married in 1970 and had two children, Shannon and Jared, who have also dedicated their lives to working in the ministry. In 1977, Charles and Rochelle Nieman began teaching God’s Word in a small railroad union hall with 20 people. Since that small beginning, the church has grown; and today, Abundant Living Faith Center has 30,000+ members and is continually growing. On December 30, 2012, after celebrating Abundant Living Faith Center’s 35th anniversary, Rochelle went to be with the Lord. After the passing of his wife, Charles is even more determined to teach people how to live the abundant life.
