Bio

Bishop Dwight Pate accepted the call on his life at age 13. As a young adult he got off track due to the influence of an older brother, however since 1979, he has been in full-time ministry. In 1983, Dwight started Church Point Ministries and in 1992 was ordained a Bishop under Apostle Clifford Turner of Liberty Temple in Chicago, IL. His visionary leadership has helped grow Church Point Ministries, which includes WNDC 910 AM Radio station, Church Point Ministries Christian Academy and the Church Point Ministries Arts Complex. Bishop Pate is a prayer warrior and believes in sowing seed to help God’s people and has planted churches and supported mission work in the Caribbean, Asia, South America and Africa. What matters to Bishop Pate is winning souls to Christ. Whether by direct mail, radio, television or social media, Bishop Pate lives to encourage just one more soul to confess Jesus. Bishop Pate is married to Sandra and they have three children and three beautiful grandchildren.
