George Morrison is the Senior Pastor of Faith Bible Chapel in Arvada, Colorado. Faith is a robust local church, centered on ministering to the whole family. Each weekend, Faith is currently ministering to more than 1,500 adults and over 500 youth/elementary students across its two campuses in Arvada, CO. Faith is a healthy multi-generational church made up of many families and individuals who value gathering for teaching, worship, and community. Faith’s value for local and global mission is obvious and permeates all areas of ministry. Under Faith’s broad ministry umbrella, they have a number of ministries that leave a significantly positive imprint in Arvada, CO and the Denver metro-area, including Faith Christian Academy, the Sonshine Center, and Impacto De Fe. Faith Christian Academy (FCA) was birthed in 1988 and is currently a driving force in the life of Faith. FCA is a K-12 Private Christian school known for its excellence in academics, athletics and the arts, with enrollment of more than 1,000 students. Faith Christian Academy has a broad reach into the greater church community, with students representing hundreds of believing families who represent/attend more than 100 local churches throughout the surrounding area.
Pastor George Morrison and his wife, Cheryl, have been a part of this ministry since 1971. Pastor George is a Vietnam Veteran who, after returning from his tour, had a dramatic conversion experience, attended Faith’s Bible College, was ordained in 1975, and served as an associate pastor at Faith Bible Chapel until 1984 when he assumed the responsibility of Senior Pastor. His visionary leadership has been a blessing to this church family, the surrounding community, and the entire Denver-metro area and beyond. He has been recognized as one of the most influential individuals in Arvada’s first 100 years.
