About Brian Fisher
Author, speaker and business executive Brian Fisher has a passion for saving unborn children and their families from abortion. But he took an unlikely path to his position as Co-Founder and President of Online for Life. Fisher graduated first in his class at McDowell High School, in Erie, Pa., then graduated summa cum laude from Westminster College in New Wilmington, Pa., in 1995 with an undergraduate degree in music (classical piano). He began working in Christian radio in Pittsburgh, Pa., first with an entry-level job as a radio operator and eventually moving over to the business side.
He then served from 1999-2005 as executive vice president of a start-up financial firm, which grew to more than $1 billion in assets before it was acquired by an international banking organization. In 2006, he moved to Coral Ridge Media Ministries as Executive Vice President and became President and CEO after the death of founder Dr. D. James Kennedy. Inspired by Dr. Kennedy, Fisher and colleague Tim Kachuriak began to dream of developing a solution that would rescue unborn babies from abortion, and save families from the pain and grief abortion often causes.
Fisher moved to Dallas in 2008 as Senior Vice President of Operations for KMA Direct Communications, a direct-response fundraising agency serving faith-based and conservative nonprofits. He started a small, volunteer non-profit on the side in 2009, Online for Life, to start realizing the dream of using compassion, truth and business applications to rescue babies. A few months later, when the ministry cooperatively saved its first baby from abortion, he said he felt “unbelievable joy.” While running Online for Life as a volunteer, he moved over to Pursuant as Executive Vice President of Operations after it acquired KMA in 2010. In early 2012, he left the for-profit world to become President of the rapidly expanding Online for Life. His third book, “Abortion: The Ultimate Exploitation of Women,” will be published May 15, 2013. He has also written “Seven Investment Tales” and “Media Revolution: A Battle Plan to Defeat Mass Deception in America.” Fisher and his wife, Jessica, have two sons.
