Years ago, my son went down a dark path, and I was overwhelmed with worry. One day, while watching Daystar, Joni suddenly said she felt the Lord wanted her to pray for a mother whose son had gone astray. I knew it was for me. Her prayer gave me peace and hope, reminding me that God loved me and my son and that everything would be okay. Years later, it is. I’ll never forget that moment when the Holy Spirit spoke through Joni. She will be dearly missed.
