Singer, songwriter, author, speaker and pastor. Danilo Montero, a native of Costa Rica, is one of the striking worship pioneers who has renewed Christian music in Latin America. With more than 25 years of ministry under his charge, his ministry has been an important influence of congregational Hispanic worship throughout the world.
Montero is also the founder of the record label, SIGUEME (FOLLOW ME) and has recorded 18 albums. In 2008 he won the Billboard Award for Latin music’s best Christian music album with the song “Your Love.” In 2010 he was nominated for the “Latin Grammy” for the album “Devoción” recorded in Lakewood Church’s venue in 2009.
