What is Check the Sound?
Check the Sound is a cutting-edge half-hour program taped in front of a studio audience showcasing some of the hottest bands and performers from all over in a full-on concert setting. Geared toward reaching today’s generation, the show offers up-to-date music and personal chat with the artists about their lives, their faith and their music. There is a prayer line available to viewers.
How do I attend a taping of Check the Sound?
We currently do not have any new artist tapings scheduled. Check back later for new listings.
If I come to a show, do I get to meet the artist?
All audience members get the opportunity to see a great live performance as well as get the inside scoop from the artist about their music and why they do what they do. Some artists do like to meet and greet their fans, however, due to security reasons this is left up to the discretion of the artist. There is no guarantee. If you are reading this, info will be uploaded this weekend. When attending a show, be sure to print out our release form (will be available soon) and bring a signed copy with you to the studio.
On what channel can I watch Check the Sound?
Check the Sound is an original program produced and aired on Daystar Television Network. Daystar is available on a variety of different systems such as cable and satellite (including DirectTV and Dish Network). Please contact your local provider to find out if they carry Daystar as part of their available programming.
What if they do not carry Daystar?
If your local provider does not carry Daystar Television Network, you may get them to add Daystar to their line up by having people in your community call and request they add Daystar as part of their provided programming. You may also watch live online 24 hours a day by going to www.daystar.com/live.
