Brian Free & Assurance

Brian Free formed his own group in the 1980s after performing solo and with the Gold City Quartet. After being formed, the group has released multiple albums and has received several awards and nominations including a Dove Award for Southern Gospel Recorded Song, “Long As I Got King Jesus.”
Brian Free and Assurance has achieved many honors in southern gospel music, including appearances on Prime Time Country (TNN), Hee Haw (CBS), The “Today Show” (NBC), 27 of the “Gaither Video” series, as well as Brian hosting the hit show “FOUR” on GMC.

For those that don’t know, when the guys were singing Looking For A City, the reason why Brian went, Where’s Gerald?, is because Gerald Wolfe of Greater Vision earlier that week had showcased a spoof to that song called Looking For a Tenor. Look it up on YouTube. It’s pretty funny!
