Congratulations to Jack Hayford as he celebrates 60 years of faithful service in ministry, as well as 60 years of marriage!
Jack Hayford has been an integral part of many ministry ventures throughout the past 60 years. He currently serves as Chancellor of The Kings University in both Los Angeles and Dallas, which he founded under the name The King’s College and Seminary in 1997. He also served as President of The International Church of the Foursquare Gospel from 2004 to 2009, and, most recognizably, was the founding pastor of The Church on the Way in Van Nuys, California, where he served as senior pastor for over three decades. Hayford is also a best-selling author, and has written/co-written more than 50 books. He has composed over 500 hymns and choruses, including the internationally known and widely recorded “Majesty.”
Hayford has come to be known as a “bridge-builder,” helping to create healthy bonds between all segments of the Body of Christ. His heart for ministry is to bring unity across all denominational and racial boundaries, a passion that has opened the door for him to minister to people in all walks of life.
Jack and his wife of 60 years, Anna, have four children, eleven grandchildren, and an ever increasing number of great-grandchildren.
