Partners! As you know, we love supporting ministries and missionaries all around the world, and we know that you are passionate about this too! That is why we try to support as many ministries as we can, with your help and financial support. Just recently, Daystar made a $5,000 donation on behalf of our partners to Dr. Gary Maxey and his wife, Emma Lou in Lagos, Nigeria. Dr. Gary Maxey is the pastor of New Beginnings International Church and founder of the West Africa Theological Seminary in Lagos – the largest nondenominational seminary in all of Nigeria.
The West Africa Theological Seminary was birthed in April 1989 out of a need to train pastors in that particular region of the world. Since it’s opening, the seminary has seen more than 1,000 pastors graduate, and over 2,000 receive training. Praise God!
The recent donation will go toward the addition of a Guest House Annex at the West Africa Theological Seminary, helping to provide a home for the Maxey’s, who have served the Lord faithfully in Nigeria for many years.
“Dr. Gary Maxey and his wife have faithfully ministered with West Africa Theological Seminary (WATS) for more than 30 years in Lagos,” says Marcus Lamb, President and CEO of Daystar Television Network. “Daystar has been blessed to partner with them and donate $5,000 toward a much needed Guest House Annex. We would like to thank our partners around the world for making this possible.”
You are not only making a difference in the lives of missionaries and pastors like the Maxey’s, but through your support of Daystar’s ministry efforts, you are having a tremendous impact on people all around the world.
