Her heart is to see people set free, touched and transformed through Praise and Worship. J. Leeann Morris grew up in Greenville, South Carolina and enjoyed singing in the church throughout her childhood years. At the age of 15, she auditioned and was accepted into an exclusive school of the arts where she received Classical Opera training. She attended Lee University in Cleveland, TN receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology with Minors in Church Music and Bible. Throughout her college years, she traveled extensively throughout the United States and abroad with the Lee Singers. In 1999, she moved to Texas and became part of the Daystar Staff and later on the Daystar Singers. She is a member of Heartland World Ministries Church under the leadership of Pastors Steve & Jeri Hill. She serves within the worship and creative arts ministry on the Leadership Board, Praise Team and as the Talent Coordinator for Heartland’s Television Production Team.
