Bishop Terrence Carr is a native of Cleveland, Ohio and a decorated military veteran who retired from the United States Air Force after 20 years of faithful service in order to devote himself to full-time ministry.
In June of 2001 he assumed the office of Senior Pastor of the then United Missionary Baptist Church. The name of the ministry was later changed to United International Christian Faith Center to better reflect the flow, mission, and current vision of the ministry. As one of the largest churches in Japan, UICFC serves the U.S. military and their dependents stationed in Okinawa, Japan and the local Japanese community. As a partner of the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship, Bishop Carr was appointed State Overseer in July 2006 and then consecrated to the office of the Bishop in June 2008. Carr oversees 40 churches throughout East Asia and provides spiritual guidance and financial support for the Paul S. Morton boy’s home in Sri Lanka. Bishop Carr travels throughout Asia ministering to the masses, mentoring ministry leaders, and supporting mission relief efforts. Bishop Carr is married to his wife of over 20 years Deloris and they have two children.
