About Jeff Bradford
Jeff Bradford, the Vice President of Online for Life, is a seasoned leader with almost 20 years of experience in owning and operating businesses. He also has a deep burden for saving unborn children, because he and his wife, Tricia, aborted their first child.
He spent more than 15 years masking his feelings, too ashamed to mention what he had done. Although the Bradfords served as leaders in their church, they still did not deal with their deep-seated hurt as a couple. “As I got closer to Christ, I realized the magnitude of what I had done, that there is a 20-year-old girl not alive because of my choice,” he said. “But all we could think of at the time was we did not want to show up at our wedding pregnant and embarrass our family.” Then one day in 2010, Brian Fisher, the co-founder of Online for Life, handed him a business card. “When Brian handed me that card, I knew the Lord was intervening in a major way,” Bradford said. Online for Life began as an all-volunteer organization and Bradford eagerly began volunteering. Then he was asked to serve on the board and took a 90-day sabbatical from his business to help Online for Life expand to help rescue more lives.
In 2012, he began working full-time for the ministry, specializing in major-donor development and partner relations. He also has a responsibility to tell men about the toll abortion takes on the lives of parents and unborn children. “I didn’t understand the enormous consequence of abortion in America and that abortion has become a form of birth control,” said Bradford, who now has four children. “After 15 years of closing my eyes and hiding in shame, the Lord dropped the scales from my eyes and showed me. It convinced me that men must step up and be men. Most men would step in front of a bus to save a child, yet we are silent while 3,500 unborn children are lost every day in America.”
