About the Speakers
Angus Buchan
Angus Buchan is a farmer turned evangelist whose passionate faith is stirring up revival and helping to build nations. In 1980, Angus and Jill started Shalom Ministries. The purpose of the ministry is to go out and preach in South Africa and across Africa. Then in 1989, he founded Beth-Hatlaim (House of the Lambs), a children’s home for orphaned and abandoned children.
Angus also holds his annual Mighty Men Conferences, which draws hundreds of thousands of men from all over South Africa to come worship and connect with God. Angus went on to found Shalom Fellowship, which started for the locals to meet to worship. They meet on Sundays and during the week. They are involved in various community projects and outreach programs in the local area.
