This June, Forward Conference celebrates its tenth year anniversary and thousands of students will travel to northeast Georgia to join in on the excitement and celebration.
Over 13,000 students and youth leaders from across the nation will gather in Duluth’s Gwinnett Arena on June 26-28, 2014. Forward Conference is synonymous with enthralling music and inspiring messages. The 2014 event continues the tradition of hosting influential speakers and music artists.
Presented by Free Chapel, Forward Conference provides an atmosphere where students can experience inspired teaching to propel them forward in their God-given purpose. “With so many influences on our young people today our mission is to be a positive voice of encouragement that helps equip them to build a successful road to their future,” says Jentezen Franklin, senior pastor of Free Chapel and father of five. Since 2005, This conference has built this annual outreach event to inspire, impart, and empower today’s generation of young people.
This event not only impacts lives, but also brings significant economic impact to both Gwinnett and Hall counties. “Each year over 30 hotels throughout Gwinnett County are used to temporarily house Forward’s out of town attendees, providing a huge amount of financial impact over the course of these four days to our County,” says Ross Powell of the Gwinnett County Convention and Visitor’s Bureau. “With their thousands of attendees, this also means increased revenue for local businesses including restaurants, gas stations, stores, and area attractions such as Sugarloaf Mills, the Mall of Georgia, Stone Mountain Park, Lake Lanier Islands Park, and much more.”
