Chocolate Pound Cake

Ingredients:

2 sticks real butter
5 large eggs
*½ cup yellow Crisco or 1 stick of butter
3 cups sugar
3 cups plain flour, sifted
½ tsp. salt
½ tsp. baking powder
1 cup whole milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 small can Carnation evaporated milk (1 cup)
6 tbsp. Hershey’s cocoa
*you may substitute 1 stick of butter 

Directions:

1) Preheat oven to 325°
2) Cream butter and Crisco, then add sugar, cream together
3) Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each; add vanilla
4) Sift all remaining dry ingredients
5) Add milk and dry ingredients alternately to creamed mixture until smooth
6) Flour a tube pan and bake at 325° for approximately 80 minutes
