Thank you for contacting us regarding the change in Daystar’s programming in Phoenix.   Daystar is happy to continue to provide the finest in family-friendly, faith based, multicultural programming to our viewers in your area:

• Cox Digital Cable Channel 110 – Phoenix.  For most subscribers, the cost to upgrade to digital is only $11.00 more per month (Call 623-594-1000 to upgrade to digital).  The quality on digital will be better and you will receive an additional 23 channels plus music channels.    Eventually all cable will be digital as mandated by the FCC.

• Cable America Channel 14 – Mesa

• Qwest Choice TV Channel 18 – Tempe

• Convergent Broadband Channel 13 - Tempe

• Broadcast Channel 48 in Phoenix (UHF antenna)
• Broadcast Channel 11 on Holbrook (VHF antenna)

• DirecTV Channel 369

• DISH Network Channel 263

There are new coordinates to view Daystar. 

Instructions For Viewing on DSTV/MULTICHOICE Decoder:

1. On your Multichoice decoder, go to channel 99 and follow the simple instructions on the TV screen to verify if you can upgrade your software.
NB: Older decoders that do NOT upgrade will NOT be able to receive Daystar TV.
2. On your REMOTE CONTROL, press the MENU button.
3. Press 6 for ADVANCED OPTIONS.
4. Press 1 for DISH INSTALLATIONS.
5. Enter PIN Code: 9949
6. Press 2 for NETWORK CONFIGURATION.
7. Press 2 for NETWORK 2 SETUP (If 2 is greyed out, use NETWORK 3 SETUP).
8. On SIGNAL SETUP, press OK to highlight DISABLED.
9. Press 'Right Arrow' button (>) to change to ENABLED and press OK.
10. Make sure #2 'ORBITAL POSITION' is PAS7/10.
11. Make sure #3 'USE NIT' is YES.
12. Press 4 for FREQUENCY (you may need to press OK before the next step).
13. Press 'Left Arrow' button (<) 5 times.
14. Enter 12682 and press OK to save.
15. Press 5 for SYMBOL RATE (you may need to press OK before next step).
16. Press 'Left Arrow' button (<) 5 times.
17. Enter 26657 and press OK to save.
18. Make sure #6 'POLARISATION' is HORIZONTAL.
19. Press 7 for FEC (you may need to press OK before next step).
20. Press 'Left Arrow' button (<) 3 times until it reads 1/2.
21. Press OK button to save.
22. Press 8 to VIEW SIGNAL STRENGTH, then press OK button to save.
23. When saved, press EXIT - once only!
24. Press 3 to SCAN NEW NETWORKS (If 3 is greyed out, press 4).
25. After scanning process is complete, receiver may go to channel 1. 
 
To watch Daystar TV:
1. On your remote, press the TV button.
2. Press the 'Up Arrow' (^) button on your remote.
3. Find and select PUBLIC PAS7/10 and press OK.
4. Press P+ button on your REMOTE until you find
Daystar TV.

Instructions For Viewing on ELSAT Decoder:
 
On your remote control, press the MENU Button.

  1. Press the OK button to select Installation.

  2. Press the down arrow (▼) button twice and then OK to select Dish

      Install Menu.

  3. Press the down arrow (▼) button twice and then OK to select Dish

      Install Menu.

  4. Make sure that the first (top) button reads Panamsat 7, 68.5 E.

      (Follow steps 5 - 6 only if the first button does not read the satellite

      mentioned above).

  5. Press the up arrow (▲) button and then OK the first button.

  6. Scroll through the menu until you find

      Panamsat 7, 68.5 E, then press OK.

  7. Select the second (bottom) button and press OK.

  8. Scroll through the menu until you find 12682 / 26657 / H, then press

      OK. (If you hear a sudden loud noise, don't worry. Just set your

      volume level on your TV).

  9. Press the green button to scan your network.

10. Press the left arrow button (◄) to select yes, then press OK (This

      step might take a while).

11. Press the EXIT button until you reach the main screen.

12. Press the OK button to view the Channel Menu.

13. Scroll through the menu and search for Christian channels.
